So, what do these verses mean? We know at this point the dragon or devil has been

caste out of heaven and is now on the earth. The whole population of a frightened

earth will see him arrive with his army of fallen ones in very convincing fashion.

This public arrival will cause many to lose their core religious beliefs when Satan

claims to be the real alien creator god.

Woe to the earth --and the sea because of the beast coming out of it.

Will Satan release the fallen ones who have been bound in the Abyss since the days

of Noah? Remember, in The Past page we learned from the book of Enoch there

were 10 leaders of the fallen angels who defiled the DNA of all humans and animals

on the planet except those taken on the ark.

Here are the names listed in the book of Enoch of the 10 heads or leaders of the fallen

angels and each leader’s specific sin:

Samlazaz

(the leader of the groups of 10 who came down on Mt. Hermon)

Semjaza

(it was his plan to mate with the humans)

Azazel

 (taught men to make weapons of war)

Armaros

(taught the resolving of enchantments)

Baraqijal

(taught mankind astrology)

Kokabel

(taught the reading of the constellations)

Ezeqeel

(taught the knowledge of the clouds)

 (taught the signs of the earth)

Shamsiel

(taught the reading of the signs of the sun)

Sariel

(taught mankind the reading of the course of the moon)

Are these evil creatures “the beast” that Satan will give his power and throne too? Do they materialize in humanoid bodies and divide the earth into kingdoms each will

rule over? Or will they simply possess the bodies of the leaders of the world?

Our answer might be found in Ecclesiastes 1:9:

 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again;

there is nothing new under the sun.

In Revelation 13:3 we are told that one of the evil beast leaders appears to be killed by a fatal head wound but is resurrected by the Dragon which astounds the entire world.

This resurrected one is the Antichrist -- the man of sin who:

“will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself

to be God.”

2 Thessalonian 2:4

“The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority or forty-two months.  It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.”

Revelation 13:5-8

The 144,000 sealed of God and many of their Jewish brothers, un-raptured Christians, and people across the world refuse to worship the beast and are targeted with beheadings by the dragon and it’s followers. At this time Satan brings up a second

beast --a world religious leader who becomes the Antichrist’s false prophet.

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to

proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and

people.  He said in a loud voice,

“Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come.

Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the

springs of water.”

A second angel followed and said,

“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’

which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice:

“If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their

forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which

has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be

tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of

the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There

will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image,

or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep

his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say,

“Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will

follow them.”

Revelation 14:6-13

The world ignores the warnings of the three angels and chaos continues. With the

Antichrist's armies attacking the Jews in Jerusalem, the Lamb of God shows up

and first gathers his sealed ones and shields them from the beast armies. The

prophet Zechariah then give us a description of how the Lamb will rescue the

Jewish people left in Jerusalem who refused the mark of the beast:

Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a

day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of

Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west,

forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half

moving south. You (the Jews) will flee by my mountain valley, for it will

extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of

Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy

ones with him.

On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness.

It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no

distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.

Zechariah 14:3-7

It is at this point that God’s wrath is poured out on the armies of the beast. In

Revelation 14:19-20 we see these armies are totally destroyed:

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia (184 miles).

Revelation 14:19-20

The prophet Zechariah describes this horrible blood bath of the battle of Jerusalem starting in the 12th verse of Zechariah 14:

This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought

against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet,

their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will

seize each other by the hand and attack one another. Judah too will fight at

Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great

quantities of gold and silver and clothing. A similar plague will strike the horses

and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Zechariah 14:12-15

There are survivors from the beast army that return back to their homelands

and report what happened. Final judgments are about to fall upon them.

It is at this point we come to the seven gold bowl judgments of Gods wrath.

This is the day of Jacob’s trouble. Everything looks hopeless, but then we see

in the 14th chapter of Revelation, God sends three flying angels announcing to

the world the final warnings against worship of the beast:
